Pick Your Own Organic Raspberries

We offer pick-your-own organic raspberries starting in mid-August through mid-September. Fall is a great time to come out to the farm for pick-your-own. The pace is a little slower compared to the hustle and bustle of the short Minnesota summer.

We are typically open for upick raspberries on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 to 6:00pm and Saturday morning from 9:00am to 11:00am. These are the same as normal farm store hours and when we have berry pickup for pre-picked berry orders. The best way to find out when we will be open is to sign up for our email list (which you can do at the bottom of the page).

We also offer pre-picked raspberries. We have pre-picked raspberries available in early August before we open for upick raspberries and then continue to have pre-picked raspberries available into late September. You can click here to check availability. We send out weekly emails with availability and a link to order through our website for pick-up at the farm.

What to Expect When Coming to the farm for Upick Raspberries

- Our raspberries are certified organic.

- We welcome supervised children at our farm. Our aisles are grass and fairly smooth. You are welcome to bring strollers out in the field.

- We’re sorry but we do not allow dogs or other pets at our farm for upick. ADA-compliant guide service animals are welcome on our farm.

- Upick organic raspberries are $8.00 per pound.

- We provide picking containers and boxes to pick into and take your berries home in.

- Please park by the purple flag. It's on the left side of the driveway when you are driving in at the bottom of the hill. You do not need to come up to the farm store building to check-in.

We do not have a staff person in the raspberry field giving you supplies and showing you where to pick. We're trying a bit more of a hands off approach this season with upick raspberries.

- Picking supplies are out in the field next to the yellow flag. The medium sized tan containers are the right size for most pickers. If you would like to pick a lot of raspberries you can use the larger cardboard boxes. The smaller green containers are a good size to give kids.

- The upick raspberry rows are all outside. They are marked with little orange flags at the end of the rows.

- We have red raspberries for upick. They are thornless. We don't have yellow raspberries for upick right now.

- When picking raspberries look under the leaves and look from the side of the canes. If you just look from above you will only see a small portion of the raspberries. Often there are many raspberries hidden under the leaves.

- Please do not pick raspberries in the high tunnel. We pick those raspberries to sell for pre-picked raspberries.

- Once you are done picking, please come up to the farm store building to checkout.

- We accept credit card, apple pay, google pay, venmo, and SNAP/EBT. We also accept checks and cash.

- While you are at the farm for upick, you can also check out our farm store. We have snacks, drinks, and ice cream treats (including gluten free and vegan items) for both kids and adults. We have Little Hill merch (t-shirts, coffee mugs, hats, etc.) and jam and fruit shrubs that we make from our berries. And we carry products from other local farms that we partner with such as eggs, maple syrup, honey, meat, cheese, and soap.
