Fresh herbs are the key to livening up your cooking. And some (lemon balm, mint, oregano, rosemary, sage, spearmint, tarragon and thyme) have the added bonus of being perennial. Herbs add that extra flavor that takes an ok dish and makes it great. Herbs are also great because you can harvest them again and again. The plants just keep coming back with more leaves and shoots for you to use.
We are partnering with two local vegetable farms, Waxwing Farm and Twin Organics, to offer plant starts for your garden. Their plants are started in their on-farm greenhouses and grown using all organic practices. The varieties we offer are ones which Waxwing and Twin grow on their farms. These varieties have outstanding flavor and do well in our soils and climate. Your garden will be the envy of the neighborhood.
Each herb plant comes in a 3" plastic pot.. These plants will be available starting Friday, May 9th for pickup at the farm. We are sorry but we are unable to ship plants.
