Ripe garden tomatoes in summer, the store bought ones just can't compete! If you are only going to grow one vegetable at home, my vote is for tomatoes. Home grown tomatoes are one of a kind and we have a wide variety for you to choose from to match your tastes from red to yellow to purple and small to medium to large.
We are partnering with two local vegetable farms, Waxwing Farm and Twin Organics, to offer plant starts for your garden. Their plants are started in their on-farm greenhouses and grown using all organic practices. The varieties we offer are ones which Waxwing and Twin grow on their farms. These varieties have outstanding flavor and do well in our soils and climate. Your garden will be the envy of the neighborhood.
Each tomato plant comes in a 4” plastic pot. These plants will be available starting Friday, May 9th for pickup at the farm. We are sorry but we are unable to ship plants. If you would like detailed information about the varieties of tomatoes we are offering, Seed Savers Exchange or Johnny's Selected Seeds carries these varieties and has good descriptions on their website. We are also happy to answer any questions you have.
