They are also great cooked into compotes or toppings for waffles, pancakes, and oatmeal. They have a naturally high level of pectin, which makes them great additions to homemade jams and jellies. Juice them, throw them in a smoothie, add them to a berry crumble for a unique twist. They're also lovely fresh, by themselves.
