From Sunshine Harvest Farm, a fourth generation family farm near Northfield. We admire their farming practices - cows are grass fed, chickens & pigs are raised on pasture, and attentive care to animal welfare (they DO NOT use hormones or chemicals on any of their animals). Plus our family can attest to how delicious their meat is as our freezer if filled with it!
This Meat CSA Box is a one time delivery on the first pickup day of your strawberry share.
The Full Share is approximately 18 pounds of meat and includes:

1-2 whole chickens and/or chicken pieces

2 dozen eggs

4 lbs. of lean ground beef (1 lb. pkgs)

5-6 lbs. of a variety of meats (beef & pork). The variety of meats could include roasts, steaks, stew cuts, kabobs, fajita strips, bacon, sausage, ham, brats, etc. (For example a typical box would have a 2-3 lb. roast, 1 lb. of steaks, 1 lb. of fajita strips, and 1 lb. sausage)
A 1/2 Share is approximately 9 lbs. combined weights of meat and eggs and half of the items listed for the full share above.
The Small Share includes 1-2 lbs. of ground beef, 1 lb of brats, 1-2 lbs of chicken pieces, 1 lb of beef steaks or pork chops and/or 1 lb. beef kabobs or fajitas, for a total of 6 lbs.
