There is nothing better than a fresh, sweet blueberry right off bush in the heat of summer. If you want to not only experience that at our farm, but also at home we can help with that! We offer 2 year old (in 1 gallon pots) blueberry plants for sale. This is the same size plant that we plant at our farm and have had great success with. Click here for instructions on how to plant and care for blueberry plants throughout the season. If you would like to purchase peat moss for planting your blueberries. We offer it in 2 pound bags which is typically enough for 1 blueberry plant. Peat moss can be purchased in the Organic Compost and Fertilizer section.

These plants will be available starting Friday, May 10th for pickup at the farm. We are sorry but we are unable to ship plants.

This year we are offering the following varieties:

Polaris: Developed by the University of Minnesota for our cold climate so is very cold hardy. It is the earliest ripening blueberry variety we grow and is normally ready starting around July 4th. It has an aromatic flavor which is excellent, and is one of my favorite varieties! Will be 3 to 4 feet tall.

Patriot: Patriot is the quintessential blueberry. It’s big and sweet. It normally ripens for us around the 10th of July. It is the tallest of the varieties we are offering and can grow to 5 to 6 feet. It tolerates heavy clay soils better than other blueberry varieties. Although we have not tried this, I have read that Patriot does fairly well if kept in pots.

Chippewa: Was developed by the University of Minnesota for our cold climate so is very hardy. At our farm Chippewa has grown with more vigor than most other blueberry varieties. The berries have a nice balanced flavor. It will be a little taller than Polaris, reaching a height of 4 feet. It ripens starting about a week to 10 days later than Polaris. It also turns a beautiful red in the Fall to add color to your landscape and is an attractive plant to add to your landscaping.
