Raspberries are the quintessential berry plant to add to your home landscape. They produce prolific, sweet berries and are easy to grow. The great thing about growing raspberries is that you practically can’t kill them. If you are not a serious gardener or want a plant that can produce delicious fruit with minimal work, raspberries are for you. The biggest challenge with raspberries is keeping them from taking over your yard and your kids from eating all of them?!!?

We are offer dormant, bare root raspberry plants for sale. Bare root plants need to be planted within a day or two of receiving them so they don't dry out. The second picture is a picture of bare root, dormant plants to give you a visual of what you’ll receive. These plants will be available starting Friday, May 10th for pickup at the farm. We are sorry but we cannot ship plants. Click here for instructions on how to plant and care for raspberry plants throughout the season.

This year we are offering the following varieties:

Caroline: Ripens in mid to late August, a week earlier than Anne. Has large berries, and a rich, full raspberry flavor. Has vigorous canes and will spread quickly to fill the planting area if gets established well.

Joan J: An early ripening variety that is completely thornless, ripens a week before Caroline. This is our staff's favorite red raspberry. The berries are good size and have great flavor. The canes are "floppier" than other varieties so they really need trellising or some type of support to be their best selves.

Anne: Produces a beautiful, large yellow raspberry with a sweet flavor. If you haven't had a yellow raspberry before, they are well worth planting to add to your home landscape. Many of our staff prefer yellow raspberries over their red counterparts. Ripens from the end of August through October.
